Oh Carol, she is a sweetie! Well, I hate to tell you my experience, but Zoe is nearly 5 years old, and house training has been difficult. It's a long story, but she goes on PeePads in our tiled laundry room, so I change that twice a day. Read (expense + yuck factor). And for some reason known only to her and her maker, she wants to poo on the tile, not the paper. Which is not so bad because they're the size of tootsie rolls (she's 5 lbs), but still. Dog poo? In your house? This has been a source of strain between my husband and me. But I love her dearly, and our kids love her even more. She has brought so much joy to our house. Yorkies are the cutest things in the world, like little teddy bears or Beanie Babies that came to life! I'm enjoying perusing your blog!
