Our Weekend Project

Here's what Bo & I did today out in the 45 mph winds, no less.

I really did help, even though I'm not in any pictures. --I was taking the pictures! I even carried one 80 lb bag of concrete. Ugh. Bo carried about 8 bags (not all at one time though). He's strong, but not quite that strong.

Are you wondering just what that thing in our backyard is? Well, in the next picture you will see what I ordered to go with it and then you will know. It hasn't arrived yet, but should be here in the next few days, and besides we have to wait a few days for the concrete to dry before we can use it. I'm really excited about it because it's something I enjoy very much.

It reminds me of my mother. Now can you guess? Dont peak! I bet Mary Ellen & Gendy can guess.

A swing, yep, you got it!

The one I ordered is not white though, it's wood colored, but it's not real wood. It's made of polywood, so it can withstand the weather.

I'll post another picture when it's all together. Now you just need to come visit me so we can sit out there and enjoy it.

Very pretty swing! Good job Bo and Carol!!

Looks like a nice place to sit and relax after a hard day at work.

I have a swing on my screened in porch and love it in the summer time. Is is so restful to swing, to think, to hear the birds and a great time to pray. I'm looking forward to the season although I will be swinging by myself this year.
